Let me introduce the project of myself.

The utility PartMaker designed to work with Orcad Netlist PartMaker .

As usually scheme designers have no clear understanding about what is the Footprint and why they have to make some corrections of it. And that is why the PART sections if Netlist may be in big disorder! You know … What to do if you have your requirement of the full matching between names. Other words DIP-14 and DIP14 are not the same. Here we go … We take the list of our own libraries and starts manual editing … Look, how my PartMaker can do it now.

The PartMaker scans Netlist and fills the Footprint entry. Yes, it is in hell mixture actually but with just one mouse click – WOW! – It is changed to the list of the real component names from the Part section. And no need to work with lists after you get the standard OpenFile window. After all updates you can save Netlist with .ALT extension. So then new Netlist version arrives you can easily, with one hand touch, load the MPF and you see all the differences immediately!

Programs for work with DXF

DXF-Trans it is very powerful program from Israeli company ELCAD. This program that you " must have".

Possibilities :

- view and plot of .plt all versions

- work with inch and mm

- full control for layers, colors, size

- copy to Clipboard and after with other graphics editor to any graphics format

- open / save to many version of DXF to any version of Pcad PCB or PRT !

- append to existing PCB

- show / print DXF Block separately

- ruler for measurement

- work with Win31, Win95 , Win98 ..

GETREF

If you made new pcb during NetList Conversion you have new PCB with components without visible RefDes. For visible it need with command Name Component clicking on all existing components and good if you have a little pcb. What to do if you have hundreds of components ? Answer is : Use my program GETREF !

Information about coordinates of components it get from PC-INSERT ( must be board origin on 0 ) and output file is .CMD. So this is BAT file for it :

pcinsert %1.pcb
getref %1.ins cardsgo.cmd
pccards %1.pcb @cardsgo.cmd

Now you have cardsgo.cmd and you can run it a lot of times with change size , width , rotation by command /exe or with key "]" if you use MDWin.

LIB2PCB

If you have a lot of components and want to see it please don't work a hard . My programs LIB2PCB can place all prt from current directory in PCB at one minute.

Remove 0 line

After working with SPECCTRA in DRC report you can see this message :

MESSAGES :

--------------

1. A zero length line/trace was found.

2. Location : 175.00 1065.00

It mean that in PCB exist error that exist coordinates of trace the same. You can see it in PDF.

For example :

{W 1515.00 2025.00 1515.00 2025.00 1515.00 2066.50 }

Errors like it can to take not right results in DRC check. And is not possible to clean it making PDIFOUT and after PDIFIN ! Only my program created for cleaning this errors can help you !

After it work example will be like this :
